InvoicesDone

Terms of Service

Last updated 12 September 2026

The agreement between you and us. Plain English, because you should be able to read it in five minutes and know where you stand.

Who you're dealing with. InvoicesDone is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], registered in England and Wales, company number [NUMBER], registered office [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. "We" and "us" mean that company. "You" means the person or business using the app.

1. What you're agreeing to

By creating an account you accept these terms. If you don't, don't use the app. If you're agreeing on behalf of a company, you're confirming you're allowed to.

2. What we provide

Software for writing invoices and estimates, sending them, and chasing them until they're paid. We provide the tool. We are not your accountant, your bookkeeper or your lawyer. Whether an invoice satisfies the tax rules where you work is your responsibility — the app gives you the fields, you decide what goes in them.

3. Your account

4. Your data is yours

Your invoices, customers and business details belong to you. We don't claim any ownership of them and we don't use them to train anything or sell them to anyone. We hold them so the app can work, and we delete them when you tell us to.

You can delete your entire account from Settings → Your account. That removes everything immediately and permanently. Export what you need first — we cannot get it back.

5. Emails we send for you

When you send an invoice or let the app chase one, the email goes out from our sending domain, in your business's name, with replies coming to you. That means:

6. Voice and photo features

These use an AI model to turn what you said, or what's on a job sheet, into invoice lines. It is a drafting aid and it will sometimes be wrong. Everything it produces is shown to you as a draft to check before anything is sent. Prices come from your own saved rates or from what you said out loud — the model is instructed never to invent one. Check the numbers. They're your invoices.

7. Paying for it

8. Things you must not do

If you do any of this we may suspend or close the account. Where it's reasonable we'll warn you first.

9. When it doesn't work

We work hard to keep it running and to get reminders out on time, but we don't promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. It depends on things outside our control — Apple, email providers, and the internet itself.

Do not rely on it as your only record. Keep copies of the invoices that matter. The app can produce a PDF of every one.

10. Where our liability ends

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.

Subject to that: we're not liable for lost profits, lost business, lost data, or an invoice that went unpaid — including where a reminder failed to send or arrived late. Our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period.

If you're using this as a consumer rather than for business, you keep all your statutory rights and nothing above takes them away.

11. Ending it

You can stop whenever you like — cancel the subscription in Apple, and delete the account in the app. We may end it if you break these terms, or with at least 30 days' notice if we stop offering the service, in which case we'll refund any unused subscription time we've been paid for directly.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these. If a change materially affects you we'll tell you in the app beforehand. Carrying on using it after that means you accept the new version.

13. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you're a consumer in the EU or elsewhere, you keep the protection of your own country's mandatory consumer law.
